SERENA WILLIAMS VS HALEP INTO SEMIS OF THE BNP PARIBAS OPEN 2015

After what happened to Serena Williams in Singapore, she will make sure she doesn’t underestimate Simona Halep when they play Friday in the semifinals of the BNP Paribas Open.

It was back in October when Halep handed Williams one of the most lopsided losses of her career, beating her 6-0, 6-2 during round robin play at the WTA Finals in Singapore. Williams said she will do whatever she can to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

“What I take out most is to be ready. I expect her to be playing an incredible game,” Williams said. “I don't think I was necessarily ready for that. Now I'm ready for her to be the great player that she is capable of being.”
