Agnieszka Radwanska advanced to the third round of the 2015 BNP Paribas Open

World No. 8 Agnieszka Radwanska advanced to the third round of the 2015 BNP Paribas Open after a 6-3, 6-1 victory over American Alison Riske on Friday. Radwanska, the 2014 runner-up (l. to Pennetta), broke Riske five times during the encounter lasting 66 minutes. 

The seventh seed from Poland will play Heather Watson, who defeated No. 29 seed Camila Giorgi 7-5, 7-5. Eighth seed Ekaterina Makarova won her battle against fellow Russian and doubles partner Elena Vesnina 6-4, 6-0. 
Makarova and Vesnina, this year’s second seeds, lifted the doubles crown in 2013 over Petrova/Srebotnik.
