Australian Open 2015: Kids Tennis Day presented by Nickelodeon.

World No.2 Roger Federer, Ana Ivanovic, Eugenie Bouchard and Aussie superstar Nick Kyrgios are set to headline the third annual Kids Tennis Day presented by Nickelodeon on Saturday 17 January.

Australian pop band sensation and ARIA chart toppers Justice Crew will join the world’s top tennis players, Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Patrick Star, Diego and a host of other entertainers when they take to the court. Nickelodeon’s comedic duo Luke and Wyatt will host the extravaganza.
“Kids Tennis Day is Australia’s biggest tennis family day and continues to bring new kids and families to the sport for a fun day out,” said Craig Tiley, CEO Tennis Australia. “In 2014 a record 13,000 fans attended Kids Tennis Day. It’s a fantastic occasion to see kids of all ages and abilities out on court playing ANZ Tennis Hot Shots and more importantly having fun.” From 8:00 am to 1:00 pm kids and families will have the chance to play on the same courts as the world’s best and get court up in an array of fun tennis activities.
Entry is free for children under the age of 16 and adult tickets are $15 via Ticketek. Ground passes will be available to purchase should the Rod Laver Arena Spectacular sell out.
