Wozniacki has continued her impressive start to Australian Open 2017 after a 6-1 6-3 win over Croatian young gun Donna Vekic.
The Dane, who is a former semifinalist at Melbourne Park, is through to the third round for the first time since 2014.
The pair’s only previous meeting was at the Australian Open back in 2013, also in the second round with Wozniacki accounting for the then 16-year-old 6-1 6-4.
Much has changed since then and the young Croatian has been able to make her way inside the top 100 and make a tour level final on her way.
The opening set began with Wozniacki racing out to a 4-0 lead, her trademark defence was on show as she managed to track down everything that the world No.99 could throw at her.
