WTA players against domestic violence. Mutua Madrid Open 2014

The biggest stars on the women’s tour have joined forces in a video from the Fundación Mutua Madrileña campaigning against domestic violence. Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Na Li, Agnieszka Radwanska, Petra Kvitova, Ana Ivanovic, Anabel Medina, Garbiñe Muguruza, Angelique Kerber, Tita Torró, Jelena Jankovic and Samantha Stosur have joined forces with the Fundación Mutua Madrileña in a campaign against domestic violence. In several languages, the players reject violence against women and ask victims of this scourge to report any case of abuse. “Domestic violence is the same for everyone. Speak out against abuse”, is the slogan for the campaign, which is being run by Fundación Mutua Madrileña in collaboration with the WTA and the Mutua Madrid Open. The foundation funds seven programmes that help abused women.
