Karolina Pliskova becomes the 23rd player in history of the WTA to earn the No.1 ranking

Karolina Pliskova will become the new WTA World No.1 when the updated rankings are released on Monday, July 17.

The 25-year-old becomes the first player representing the Czech Republic to achieve this historic milestone since the computer rankings were introduced in 1975, and would be the 23rd woman overall to hold the No.1 ranking.
