(13) Agnieszka Radwanska (POL #13) vs (20) Garbiñe Muguruza (ESP #20)
H2H: Series tied, 2-2
1) Muguruza is playing her first Grand Slam semifinal. Muguruza's best Grand Slam results before this were quarterfinals at the French Open in 2014 (falling to Sharapova) and 2015 (falling to Lucie Safarova). She's now into her first Grand Slam semifinal.
2) Radwanska is a fixture in the semifinals here lately. Radwanska has now made the semifinals here three of the last four years - she was a finalist in 2012 (falling to Serena), semifinalist in 2013 (falling to Sabine Lisicki) and now semifinalist again in 2015. Her only other Grand Slam semifinal came at the 2014 Australian Open (falling to Dominika Cibulkova).
3) Radwanska's grass court season has been better than the rest of her season combined. Radwanska has rekindled her magic this grass court season, earning 1195 ranking points through her results in Nottingham (semifinals), Eastbourne (final) and Wimbledon (semifinals). That's more ranking points than she earned the entire first five months of her season combined (926 ranking points).
4) Radwanska will be Top 10 again after this. Having fallen out of the Top 10 in May, her first time out of the Top 10 since 2011, Radwanska is projected to return to the elite after Wimbledon, somewhere between No.6 and No.8, depending.
5) Muguruza will break the Top 15 after this. Muguruza will shatter her career-high ranking of No.19 after this tournament. She's projected to rise to No.14 with a semifinal finish, No.9 with a runner-up finish and potentially No.6 with the title.
