Serena Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska participated in a charity event. Mutua Madrid Open 2014

One day before main draw action kicked off at the Mutua Madrid Open the tournament held a charity event co-hosted by two of Spain's biggest athletes, Rafael Nadal and Real Madrid's Iker Casillas. WTA stars Serena Williams and Agnieszka Radwanska participated in the event, entertaining the crowd playing soccer, volleyball, dancing and of course tennis. Money raised from the event will go towards two projects: "Integration and Sport", from the Rafa Nadal Foundation (created in 2008 to offer educational programmes to children and youths at risk of social exclusion or with learning difficulties in Spain and India) and the "Inclusive Sport for Differently Abled Children", for the Iker Casillas Foundation. "I love to do anything for charity," said Serena Williams. "Whatever I can do to support is great." "It was a cool event for a great cause and glad I could participate" said Agnieszka Radwanska.
