Defending champion Petra Kvitova stormed through to the quarterfinals of the Nature Valley Classic, beating Daria Gavrilova 6-2, 6-2 in the second round.
Despite the Australian winning in their previous two meetings, the World No.8 dominated the match to advance in what she hopes will be a successful week in Birmingham as she builds up momentum on the grass before Wimbledon where she will be looking for her third title in eight years.
