Danielle Collins into QF of the Oracle Challenger Series WTA 125K. Newport Beach 2018

Wildcard Danielle Collins was the only American to advance to the quarterfinals on Day 3 of the Oracle Challenger Series WTA 125K event in Newport Beach, as four of her countrywomen crashed out.

In a day dominated by three-setters and epic comebacks, it was Collins who was able to edge past fellow American Jamie Loeb to advance 4-6, 6-0, 6-4.
