No.1 seed Simona Halep moved into the final of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia for the third time as she overcame No.9 seed Garbiñe Muguruza, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 in two hours 14 minutes as a smattering of spectators were allowed access for the first time since the Tour was suspended due to Covid-19.
