Anastasija Sevastova conquer of the 2019 Baltic Open
JURMALA, Latvia - Three points away from defeat, Anastasija Sevastova rallied to claim the title on home soil at the first-ever edition at the Baltic Open.
The Latvian No.1 and top seed trailed qualifier Katarzyna Kawa by a set and a break, and served to stay in the match in the second set, before ralling to win her fourth WTA title, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 in Jurmala.

Sevastova advances to final in Latvia Open 2019
JURMALA, Latvia - Top seed Anastasija Sevastova and Cinderella qualifier Katarzyna Kawa will square off to be crowned the first-ever Baltic Open champion.
On semifinal Saturday, the Latvian No.1 downed Russian teenager and No.6 seed Anastasia Potapova, 6-4, 6-2, to book her spot in Sunday's final opposite Kawa, a 26-year-old from Poland who is having a dream week on the Latvian coast in her WTA main draw debut.

Elena Rybakina conquers of the 2019 Bucharest open
BUCHAREST, Romania - In an all-unseeded final at the BRD Bucharest Open between two players both bidding for their first title, Elena Rybakina got the better of qualifier Patricia Maria Tig 6-2, 6-0 in just one hour and five minutes.

Simona Halep advances to Final in 2019 Wimbledon
ONDON, Great Britain -
Simona Halep is the first woman into the 2019 Wimbledon final after an emphatic win over rival Elina Svitolina, dispatching the No.8 seed, 6-1, 6-3.
"It's very special, this moment," Halep said, during her post-match press conference. "To be able to play Wimbledon final, it's pretty amazing. I will enjoy it for sure."
Seeded No.7, Halep was playing her first semifinal at the All England Club since 2014, while Svitolina was making her debut at this stage of any major tournament. The Romanian ultimately made good use of that experience to complete a 72-minute victory on Centre Court.
Serena Williams advances to Final in 2019 Wimbledon
LONDON, Great Britain - Seven-time champion Serena Williams is back into the championship match at Wimbledon after taking down the always-tricky Barbora Strycova in straight sets on Thursday.
Serena dropped just three games in a dominant semifinal performance, and fired 27 winners and four aces en route to a 6-1, 6-2 victory against Strycova. It’s her third Grand Slam final in the last 12 months after reaching the Wimbledon and US Open finals last year.
