 Injuries and inconsistencies have conspired to erode former World No.7 Belinda bencic 's ranking, but the Swiss teeanger looked back in form on Wednesday at the bnp Paribas open  dismissing Tsvetana pironkova, 6-4, 6-1, to reach the second round.
"I started really nervous and didn't have a great start," she said during her on-court interview. "But then I started to pick up and remember what I had to do. That went well; I tried to stay focused throughout the match."
