Usa 3 Czech Republic 2. Fed cup 2017. The best moments

USA SEES OFF CZECH REPUBLIC TO REACH FINAL
Team USA reached their first Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final in seven years by ousting three-time reigning champions Czech Republic 3-2 in the semifinals at the Saddlebrook Resort on Sunday.
The teams came into the final day of action tied at 1-1 and ended up in a decisive fifth doubles rubber before USA confirmed their date against first-time Fed Cup finalists Belarus in what will be an away tie for the Americans.
“We’ve been very fortunate to have two home ties, but that’s what Fed Cup is all about,” said USA captain Kathy Rinaldi, about traveling to Belarus in November for the final. “We’re just looking forward to it. We’re going to be there, we’re going to be a team, we’re going to have each other’s back and we’re going to compete. These girls take great pride in representing the USA and it’s a special week to be in the final.”
CoCo Vandeweghe provided the USA with a 2-1 edge by defeating Katerina Siniakova 64 60 in the first rubber on Sunday, but Marketa Vondrousova, a 19-year-old newbie to Fed Cup this weekend, ousted Lauren Davis 62 75 to push the tie to a doubles conclusion.
Vandeweghe’s improved her current Fed Cup record to impressively winning her last nine Fed Cup matches, including singles and doubles action.
“It was an amazing day as a team and it shows that every point counts in this event,” Vandeweghe said. “We all came together when it mattered most and that’s what you expect out of a Fed Cup tie.
“We deserve to be in the finals,” Vandeweghe added.
