Defending Australian Open champions Novak Djokovic andSerena Williams look set for challenging starts to their 2016 tournaments.

Five-time champion Djokovic will open his title defence against teenage South Korean star Hyeon Chung (ranked No.51) while Williams, seeking her seventh Australian Open title, has drawn the highest-ranked unseeded player in the draw, Italy’s world No.35 Camila Giorgi.

In the men’s draw, No.2 seed Andy Murray will face 83rd-ranked German teen Alexander Zverev, No.3 seed and four-time champ Roger Federer will begin against Georgia’s Nikoloz Basilashvili and his Swiss compatriot Stan Wawrinka (seeded fourth) will face Russian veteran Dmitry Tursunov, currently ranked No.265.
