Ivanovic will take the court tomorrow in the hopes of improving her best Cincinnati record of reaching the semi-finals.
Ivanovic breezed through her quarterfinal match, ending 19-year old Elina Svitolina’s hot streak in Cincinnati and recording her WTA-leading 46th match win of 2014. The Serb was almost ousted in the round of 16, but was able to push past former Grand Slam champion Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-2, 2-6, 6-3. Ivanovic will take the court tomorrow in the hopes of improving her best Cincinnati record of reaching the semi-finals.
