The Noble Box Project 2013: Agnieszka Radwanska and Urszula Radwanska

KRAKOW, Poland
It was a big year for both Agnieszka Radwanska and Urszula Radwanska, but when it comes down to helping others, neither one has let their on-court success get in the way.
For the fifth year in a row the sisters took time out during the off-season for Szlachetna Paczka - or "Noble Box". The charity has its volunteers go door to door throughout the year compiling a database of families in need, asking them what would help ease the pressures of the holidays.
Then, for a three week period from mid-November to early December, donors are given a list to take with them to the supermarket, where they fill a shopping cart with the food, clothing and more to donate to them. This year the Radwanskas picked a family with four children who couldn't make ends meet because the mother is seriously ill - she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and epilepsy at the age of 19.
To make things worse, doctors recently found a cyst in her brain. She needs nearly 200 Euros a month for medicine and the family is struggling. That's where the wonderful Noble Box project comes in - the Radwanskas bought everything from the list, including school supplies, diapers, toys and pet food.
